We are a diverse collective of committed and passionate individuals who are willing to take risks to create art and are searching for paths and resources to support different modes of expression.

 

 
WELCOME!

During our semester long course Survival Strategies at the 
University of Minnesota Twin Cities, we have explored 
diverse topics related to dance and careers in the arts.  As a 
resource for future young artists, this website is a 
compilation of the knowledge we have acquired and is intended 
to be used by any and all who are in need of some 
helpful tips.  So without further ado, 
welcome to Dance Survival!


This site is dedicated to helping emerging artists survive under the realities of life outside a university setting.  The contents of the site are intended as guidelines and tips for successfully promoting oneself as an artist to a public audience and should be used liberally to aid in this goal.
